A former University of Southern California football player has sued the school and former head coach Lane Kiffin over injuries he says he suffered after being forced to play while he was ill.
Former cornerback Brian Baucham, now 24, suffered a high fever, chills and flu symptoms two days before he was scheduled to play a home game against the University of California, Berkeley, according to a lawsuit filed on Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court.
