A company that built cleanrooms for a pharmacy that compounded tainted steroids, leading to a multi-state breakout of fatal meningitis, says it cannot be held responsible for the people killed or seriously injured from those steroids.
Liberty Industries Inc. has moved for summary judgment in the case of plaintiff Mary A. Lambert, an Indiana resident who says she was injected with methylprednisolone acetate compounded by the now-shuttered New England Compounding Pharmacy.
