Founded in 2007, Ustream Inc. is a live video-streaming platform company in San Francisco. Its software-as-a-service model lets businesses stream conference keynote speeches and product launches, broadcast training videos internally and embed media players on their websites and social media. Ustream provides event-support and production services for live streaming. Its software is embedded in the Sony PlayStation 4 so gamers can air views of their screens and themselves at play.

The privately held company employs about 100 people at its headquarters and 150 more, many of them developers, in Budapest.
