A Florida federal judge has rejected Ford Motor Co.’s motion to dismiss a proposed class action involving the exhaust systems in its Explorer models.
Judge William Dimitrouleas of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida ruled Oct. 7 that he would allow the plaintiff’s claims against Ford, including violations of the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, to go forward.
