FullBar LLC has been hit with a class action in Florida federal district court for allegedly misrepresenting that its appetite-regulating diet products were all natural when they actually contain synthetic and artificial ingredients.
Plaintiff Elizabeth Livingston filed the complaint Oct. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, claiming FullBar unlawfully, negligently and deceptively represented that its various flavored bars are “100 percent Natural” or “All Natural’ despite containing many unnatural ingredients such as maltodextrin, soy protein concentrate and soy lecithin.
