Redacted: A detainee at the U.S. military facility at Guantanamo Bay wants a war court judge to limit his interactions with female guards, but you’d never know that was the issue by looking at legal documents. The Miami Herald reports that a war censor has redacted the words “female” and “male” from pleadings.

Delay: The Washington Post reports on the status of a year-long investigation into allegations of embezzlement by a Virginia detective involved in asset forfeiture. No charges have been filed so far.
