The family of a man who died when his 2002 Chevy Silverado crashed in icy conditions is suing General Motors in Texas federal court, claiming the truck’s improper design failed to prevent his fatal injuries.
Brett McDaniel’s widow and child filed suit Nov. 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, accusing the automaker of being “negligent in the design, manufacture, assembly, marketing, andor testing of the vehicle.” Read the complaint in McDaniel v. General Motors here.
