After more than two years in court, workers at a National Beef Packing Company processing plant seem ready to settle their suit over unpaid wages for up to $350,000.
The joint motion to settle filed on Nov. 21 would apportion $200,000 in damages to the 480 opt-in class members, plus attorney and court costs and a $3,500 incentive fee for each named plaintiff, Valente Sandoval Barbosa and Carolina Gayton.
