Police reforms: The U.S. Department of Justice intends to announce updated guidance on law enforcement profiling, Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. said in a speech Monday night in Atlanta. Holder also continued to stress that the federal investigations of the Ferguson police department and Michael Brown shooting death “remain ongoing and active. They have been rigorous and independent from the very beginning.”
