A consumer has filed a proposed class action against Revlon Inc., The Procter & Gamble Co. Inc. and other companies in New Jersey federal court, alleging they make, market and sell “unscented” deodorant products that fail the smell test.
Lead plaintiff Melissa Fogarty, a resident of Cherry Hill, N.J., claims that although the defendants’ deodorants are labeled as being “unscented,” each of the products at issue “has a noticeable and unmistakable scent detectible by any reasonable consumer.”
