Enbridge has agreed to a settlement with residents and businesses whose properties were damaged or devalued by a July 2010 oil leak into the Kalamazoo River.

In the agreement filed on Dec. 5 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, Enbridge agreed to pay an estimated $6.25 million without admitting to any wrongdoing on its part, the Associates Press reported.
