A woman who claims she suffered a heart attack as a result of biting a cherry atop a Chick-Fil-A milkshake is suing the fast-food chain and a cherries manufacturer in Texas state court.
Former Texas resident Cyndi Scruggs filed the complaint against defendants Chick-Fil-A Inc. and Dell’s Maraschino Cherries Co. Inc., alleging she was injured after biting into a maraschino cherry that was not properly de-pitted and which posed an unreasonable risk of harm.
