President Barack Obama on Monday announced his intent to nominate Sally Quillian Yates as the next deputy attorney general, replacing James Cole. Cole, formerly a Bryan Cave white-collar defender, announced his resignation plans in October.
Attorney General Eric Holder Jr. issued a statement about Yates on Monday afternoon.
