Scott Bloch, a former head of the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, received a temporary D.C. Bar suspension this week following a disciplinary action against him in California.

Bloch, who led the office between 2003 and 2008 under President George W. Bush, picked up a 30-day suspension from practicing law in California after a State Bar Court judge in April found that he lied about deleting files from U.S. government computers.
