SCOTUS Transparency: The U.S. Supreme Court is creating an electronic filing system that will make case documents available to the public online, Legal Times reports.

Hinckley: Federal prosecutors won’t charge John Hinckley Jr. in connection with the shooting death of James Brady, who died last year, Legal Times reports. Authorities labeled his death a homicide that stemmed from injuries he sustained from the assassination attempt against President Ronald Reagan in 1981. A jury in 1982 found Hinckley not guilty by reason of insanity.
