Boies, Schiller & Flexner (New York): Peter Skinner, Matthew Schwartz, and John Zach (L-R) join the firm to launch a global investigations and white-collar defense practice. The new group will focus on banks and other financial clients facing government investigations and litigation, and expand the firm’s resources in the areas of internal and government investigations, regulatory guidance and white-collar defense. Schwartz, Skinner and Zach join the firm from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard (New York): Doug Jacobs (left) joins the firm as partner and will focus on matters involving the cable television industry and digital media. Jacobs was executive vice president and senior counsel at A&E Television Networks LLC.
