The Network Branded Prepaid Card Association, the leading advocate in Washington, D.C., for Visa Inc., MasterCard Inc. and other companies that back prepaid payment cards, has rung up industry veteran Brad Fauss as its first general counsel, the group announced Monday.
Fauss most recently was the top lawyer for Brightwell Payments, an Atlanta-based company that specializes in prepaid payment options. He also served as either an NBPCA director or advisory board member since the group’s founding in 2006 and is a former senior vice president for legal, risk and compliance at prepaid services provider TSYS Prepaid Inc.
