Kleiner Trial: In closing arguments, Ellen Pao’s lawyer, Alan Exelrod of Rudy, Exelrod, Zieff & Lowe, argued Tuesday that senior partners at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers ran the firm like a boys’ club and “no woman was going to challenge them.” Kleiner Perkins’ lead lawyer, Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe partner Lynne Hermle, who started her closing argument Tuesday afternoon, countered that Pao’s failure to advance at Kleiner Perkins was her own fault, due in part to her constant problems with coworkers, The Recorder reports.
