Dorsey & Whitney’s Eric Ruzicka had a big role to assume when he became Pro Bono Partner last year after a colleague’s retirement, but he’s kept the program and the firm’s legacy pro bono projects thriving with U.S. Bancorp.

Both organizations bring strengths to their joint service projects, including a housing court clinic, Ruzicka said. His retired colleague Perry Wilson set the standard. “We couldn’t do what we’re doing without the folks [from U.S. Bancorp subsidiary] U.S. Bank and we allow them to have opportunities that would be challenging without us. It’s a great pairing. The sum is greater than its parts,” Ruzicka said.
