Thought leadership. This term gets thrown around a lot these days. Like “content marketing,” “engagement” and “lead generation,” thought leadership is an idea that’s been around for a long time. Now we have marketing jargon for it.
Thought leadership — being a thought leader — means becoming a recognized authority on specific topics by providing your target audience with useful information to answer their biggest questions or address their most pressing concerns. Put another way, it’s being viewed by decision makers as an expert, authoritative source for information on important issues.
