Chris Knopik is the chief legal officer and general counsel at Laser Spine Institute LLC, a Tampa-based provider of minimally invasive spine surgery. The company, which has seven surgical centers around the country and employs 1,100, is planning for room to grow with its new 176,000-square-foot facility in Tampa, slated to open in 2016. That expansion will enable the company to handle up to 25 percent more patient capacity than its existing facility in Tampa, Knopik said.
The privately held company does not disclose revenue.
