Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey has proposed regulations for daily fantasy sports industry that would expose the companies to triple damages under the state’s consumer protection laws.
At a Thursday press conference, Healey announced that she would submit the plans on Friday to the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s Office. She expected the affected companies to “take steps to immediately comply with the regulations,” she said.
