NetSuite Inc. provides cloud-based business-management software, including enterprise resource planning, customer-relationship management and electronic commerce. Evan Goldberg, a former Oracle Corp. vice president, founded NetSuite in 1998; he is NetSuite’s chief technology officer and board chairman. Oracle founder Larry Ellison is a major investor. NetSuite, based in San Mateo, California, went public in 2007. It’s been adding about a thousand workers each year for the past few years and has about 4,500 workers worldwide.

LEGAL TEAM

Doug Solomon became NetSuite’s first in-house attorney when he joined the company in 2006. He’s built a legal team of 20, most of whom work at company headquarters. Three attorneys who were Bronto Software Inc. employees are based in North Carolina, and one attorney is in the United Kingdom.
