More than 80 class actions against online daily fantasy sports sites DraftKings Inc. and FanDuel Inc. have been transferred to a federal judge in Boston.
In an order on Thursday, the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation found that all the cases, which included claims of consumer fraud and insider trading, should be coordinated for pretrial purposes before U.S. District Judge George O’Toole. That district was the favored venue of both companies, which supported coordination. DraftKings is based in Boston.
