Students at American University Washington College of Law returned from winter break last month to a new campus, and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will formally welcome them Friday.

Ginsburg and Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser will speak at the ribbon cutting of the school’s newly constructed $128 million building—an appropriately female-centric lineup for a law school founded by a pair of women more than a century ago.
