President Barack Obama on Tuesday urged Republican zenators to "rise above day-to-day politics" and not delay his U.S. Supreme Court pick to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia. "The Constitution is pretty clear about what is supposed to happen now," said Obama, speaking at a press conference in Rancho Mirage, California. Obama was responding to GOP leadership threats to delay any hearing on the president's nominee. He said there is "more than enough time" to hold a vote.
