Dentons, a multibillion-dollar legal organization, has more than 6,000 attorneys spread across the globe. Its strategy since 2013 has been to multiply through mergers. In addition to the 370-lawyer McKenna acquisition last year, the firm joined with the massive Chinese firm Dacheng. It swallowed up hundreds of lawyers more recently with whole-firm acquisitions in Singapore, Australia, Luxembourg, Mexico and Colombia.
