RETURNED: A North Carolina many was arrested this week for not returning a VHS tape he had rented in 2002. James Meyers, a single father from Concord, N.C., said he was pulled over for a broken tail light and, during the traffic stop, an officer realized there was a warrant out for his arrest. USA Today reports that the man was allowed to take his daughter to school and make arrangements for a babysitter before turning himself him. He was released from jail on a “written promise.”
