A federal judge on Monday provided a bit of good news to former U.S. Rep. Aaron Schock in a lawsuit related to allegations that the Illinois politician who had a “Downton Abbey”-themed office misused public funds and campaign contributions.

U.S. District Judge Andrea Wood dismissed, for now, a putative class action that sought to recoup millions in donations made to Schock’s campaign. The Republican resigned in March 2015, saying the questions over his finances had become a distraction.
