For the second time, Dentons has told partners who joined it through the McKenna Long & Aldridge merger last year that they owe for a $2 million accounting error.

Dentons, the global firm, sent “personal and confidential” memos on Friday to lawyers who were part of the McKenna partnership in 2012. The letters outlined how a prior merger between McKenna and San Diego law firm Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps in 2012 left the books $1.9 million short.
