The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia on Tuesday unanimously approved George Mason University’s plan to rename its law school after the late Justice Antonin Scalia.

David Rehr, senior associate dean at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, thanked “the many scholars, public officials and legal experts from across the ideological spectrum” who supported the name change.
