Eric Roeder is the general counsel at Blizzard Entertainment Inc., creators of popular video games like World of Warcraft. Blizzard’s track record includes 19 top-selling games and multiple Game of the Year awards. Warcraft, a motion picture based on Blizzard’s game, is scheduled for a June 10 release.
Blizzard, active in the world of “e-sports,” (video game competitions) runs events in many countries. The Irvine, California-based Blizzard employs around 4,500 in nine facilities around the world. Net revenue for 2015 was $1.6 billion.
