IN BRIEF: Cosby to Stand Trial

Sexual assault charges against Bill Cosby have been held over for trial, a Pennsylvania magisterial district judge ruled May 24.

Judge Elizabeth A. McHugh said prosecutors presented sufficient evidence to make out a prima facie case based on the allegations of Andrea Constand. Cosby’s formal arraignment is scheduled for July 20, but he waived the arraignment and is not required to appear.
