An online fan community of the hit TV series “The Walking Dead” has been threatened with legal action over alleged spoilers about the upcoming season. The Spoiling Dead Fans (TSDF) is a group committed to learning everything they can about the show, including information in as-yet-unaired episodes. TSDF is rumored to know the identity of a character that was killed off in last season’s finale, and AMC, the network that airs the show, is trying to stop any potential revelations. A post on the group’s Facebook page says TSDF received a letter from AMC’s attorney at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, claiming that any predictions made about “critical plot information” would amount to copyright infringement. TSDF has decided not to share their information, although they are still defiant. “We are a threat because of our accuracy,” the group’s Facebook post states. — Richard Binder

LIFTED?

Robert Fletcher, a personal trainer from Rockland County, New York, is suing Sylvester Stallone and NBC over the reality TV series “Strong,” which he says was his original idea. Fletcher claims he came up with “America’s Next Great Trainer,” a competition in which personal trainers and their clients would participate in various strength training challenges for cash prizes. In court papers, he says he spent four years putting the show together and reached out to both Stallone’s publicist and talent agency for possible investment. He further alleges he had signed personal trainer Todd Durkin to host the show. It was in early July 2015 that Fletcher says he learned NBC was premiering “Strong,” which shared all the features of his original concept, including host Durkin. Fletcher has also named Durkin in the suit, as well as producer David Broome. He is seeking $2 million in damages, with punitive damages of $5 million. — Richard Binder
