The parents of two first-graders killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre are offering to settle their wrongful-death lawsuit against Newtown, Connecticut, and its Board of Education for $5.5 million each.
Lawyers for the parents of Noah Pozner and Jesse Lewis filed the offer of compromise in Danbury Superior Court June 13. According to Connecticut statute, the offer now remains open for 30 days.
