The U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed three nominees to the District of Columbia Superior Court, bringing the number of judges confirmed to the city’s local trial court over the past year to seven.

The Senate confirmed Julie Becker of the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, solo practitioner Steven Berk and Superior Court Magistrate Judge Elizabeth Wingo. Becker was nominated in April 2015; Berk and Wingo were nominated in November.
