A former associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Washington who pleaded guilty in 2009 to secretly filming a man changing clothes in a gym locker room could face disbarment.

The D.C. Board on Professional Responsibility issued a report on July 29 finding that the lawyer, Kelly Cross, committed a crime of “moral turpitude,” which carries a penalty of disbarment. The board disagreed with a hearing committee that last year recommended a three-year suspension.
