A St. Clair Shores, Michigan, couple has sued the creators of Pokémon Go, claiming that the augmented-reality game has turned their neighborhood into “a nightmare,” NBC affiliate WDIV-TV reported.

Filed Aug. 10 against Niantic, The Pokémon Co., and Nintendo in the Northern District of California, the suit alleges that the placement of Pokéstops and Pokémon Gyms at a local park near private property “constitutes a continuing invasion” of the plaintiffs’ property. Pokéstops and Pokémon Gyms allow users to collect helpful items and virtually battle other players. The suit says that Pokémon Go players have trespassed on neighbors’ lawns and peered into their windows. — Suzanne Monyak
