Akerman (Los Angeles): Ellen Berkowitz and Brady McShane join the land use team as partners. Berkowitz will focus on real estate development, litigation and other land use regulations. McShane will focus on political, regulatory and environmental issues. Before joining the firm, Berkowitz and McShane were partners at Gresham Savage.
Buchalter Nemer (Los Angeles): Eric Kennedy joins the firm as chairman of its automotive industry group and will focus on commercial litigation, including class action matters and disputes over contracts, false advertising, fiduciary relationships and trade secrets. Before joining the firm, Kennedy was a partner at Payne & Fears.
