Two months ahead of a highly anticipated U.S. presidential election, a handful of large law firms got the late-year lateral hiring season started by announcing new partner additions from the federal government.

Hogan Lovells announced Tuesday that it has hired Gregory Lisa, who for the past year served as interim director of the Office of Compliance and Enforcement in the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network.
