Six U.S. Supreme Court justices from across the ideological spectrum joined on Thursday to celebrate the renaming of George Mason University’s law school for their late colleague Antonin Scalia.
Justice Elena Kagan, a friendly but frequent adversary of Scalia’s jurisprudence, spoke at the event at the Arlington, Virginia, law school, describing Scalia as “one of the most important Supreme Court justices ever, and also one of the greatest.”
