A 23-year-old New York man sent police on a wild Wigglytuff chase when he reported his cellphone was stolen while he was playing PokÉmon Go in Central Park. He said a man shoved him to the ground before running off with the phone.

Police canvassed the area and found the phone, but the man came clean that he dropped the phone because he was drunk. The New York Post reports that no charges were brought against the man for falsely reporting a crime.
