Barton (New York): Dennis Haines joins the corporate and energy practices as senior counsel and will focus on legal, commercial operation and governance matters in the energy, power-generation and clean tech sectors. Haines was vice president and managing counsel for Pepco Energy Services Inc.
Cooley (Washington): Robert McDowell joins the firm as partner and co-leader of the firm’s global communication practice and will focus on complex regulatory issues in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. McDowell was federal communication commissioner for the past seven years.
