Three Los Angeles men are suing Chipotle over alleged misrepresentation of the calorie count in a chorizo burrito. David Desmond, Edward Gurevich and Young Hoon Kim claim they were taken in by a sign in various Chipotle restaurants that suggested the burrito was 300 calories. However, that count refers to a single serving of the chorizo alone, according to the chain’s nutrition information.

Put together with the “perfectly grilled spicy chicken … in a burrito with white rice, black beans, fresh tomato salsa, and a sprinkle of cheese” as described on the sign, the calorie count jumps up considerably to 1,055. Ars Technica reports that Desmond realized he’d been fooled when he felt “excessively full” after eating the whole thing. The three men are seeking unspecified damages and class action status for their suit.

OH, THE PEOPLE YOU’LL SUE!
