An electrical contractor has sued the Trump Organization claiming that it was underpaid by more than $2 million for rush work it did on the Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. to prepare for an early opening.
Lawyers for AES Electrical, which does business as Freestate Electrical Construction Company, filed suit against The Trump Organization in D.C. Superior Court on the eve of last Friday’s inauguration for President Donald Trump claiming the company hadn’t been paid for rush work on the project at the Old Post Office Building. The suit was first reported by Politico.
