LEGAL TEAM
Green oversees a legal department that includes 14 lawyers, most of whom are based in Atlanta, and about two dozen nonattorneys working in the regulatory compliance, privacy and enterprise risk management areas. The department, Green says, is divided by both region and function. The “vast majority” of work is kept in-house with the exception of litigation, some mergers and acquisitions and other corporate work, and work in areas “where we don’t have enough to warrant a full-time attorney, such as IP, as one example,” he says.
