Noel Francisco, still awaiting a hearing on his nomination as U.S. solicitor general, has promised to divest his interests in technology, financial and pharmaceutical companies—including Apple Inc., Vanguard Financials and Merck & Co.—if he wins Senate confirmation.
Francisco’s confirmation hearing is scheduled for May 10 at the Senate Judiciary Committee.
