The end of the Supreme Court’s term last week was a triumphant moment for Solicitor General Theodore Olson.
He began his job last year under the cloud of a hard-fought 51-47 Senate confirmation vote, partisan payback for Olson’s role in helping install George W. Bush as president by winning Bush v. Gore as a private attorney.
