A former Cravath, Swaine & Moore associate fleeing rape charges was arrested Friday morning at a hotel in New York City’s East Village, where he had been staying under an assumed name.
Tax lawyer James P. Colliton, 41, was indicted Thursday on charges he had relationships dating back to 2000 with two teenage girls who he regularly paid for sex. One of the girls, who was 13 at the time, allegedly moved into Colliton’s Manhattan apartment, which he maintained in addition to a house in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where his wife and five children lived.
