Sutherland Asbill & Brennan’s transactional lawyers are as happy about the firm’s new mock courtroom as its litigators. Until now the litigators have had to use the firm’s conference rooms to prepare for trials. The new courtroom frees them up for the dealmakers.

The firm’s managing partner, Mark D. Wasserman, said that at a time when young lawyers do not appear in court often, a mock courtroom allows them to practice arguments and try cases in realistic settings.
